On December 3rd, 2009 Tracy Lynn Judd (33) and her beautiful daughter Deja Renee (23 months) were both brutally murdered in what is still known today as the most brutal quadruple domestic violence homicide in Dane County (Madison, WI) history.
Tracy's boyfriend, Deja's father, also murdered his other 2 1/2-year-old daughter and her mother that same day.
This tragedy is what was the driving force behind Lisa Judd Blanchard (Tracy's Sister/Deja's Aunt) and Heather Lawler (Tracy's childhood friend) to introduce TraJa and help raise awareness of the serious effects Domestic Violence has on our society.
Along with education, Lisa and Heather have been a driving force behind life-saving changes in their state of Wisconsin. Lisa and Heather have worked very hard in making Wisconsin a safer state by demanding law changes for violent repeat offenders and are the authors of 2 very changing felony laws in their state.
